Thomas Gordon's work on Parental Effectiveness is, for me, compulsory education for everyone, everywhere. Gordon's model has transformed the communication and relationship experience of millions around the world since its creation in the 60's and is a foundation stone of much of The Life Project's work. An absolute must for educators, parents, carers and well, everyone really!

Another gem from Thomas Gordon - this time the "no power" model is applied to Leadership within organisations. Powerful, simple, clearly explained and lots of good examples and case studies.

A great, simple introduction to the concepts set out in A Course In Miracles, another Life Project foundation stone. If you have ever wondered how what you think might affect how you see the world, you will love this book.

Super-dooper, well researched book on how to create more flow, the experience of happiness. Mihaly explains that we achieve flow when we participate fully in something just tough enough to stretch us and demand our concentration, but not so hard that we scare ourselves. We find this in acquiring skills, like learning an instrument, a sport, a craft or hobby. I love the example he gives of the guy who used to come home from work every day and spend his evenings in the garden, making rainbows....

This is one of my core favourites. Penelope provides a book so rich with practical skills and examples of how they work, it blows my mind that no-one has incorporated this into the National Curriculum...actually...check out our forthcoming Life Skills Worksheets and Curriculum...:)

Thomas Moore is super! He explains how our culture has worked hard to prevent us from recognising the value of challenge, suffering and experience. We all want to be happy happy all the time. Using myth and story to demonstrate his ideas, he offers us the chance to recognise that those times of struggle may contain riches we had not previously seen. And he also gives you the tools to be philosophical about it!

Lovely, easy to read book that gives you the experience of being really present. In the p"now" as Tolle describes it, we can immediately find peace and serenity. Becoming present effortlessly silences your mind.
